Dalika Flagship Logistics - Eastbrook Studios - Dagenham, London

Logistics Package and Plant Handling Package

PHS supplied a full Logistic team to our client, for an 18-month project.

Coordinated by our PHS Logistics Manager all M&E material were offloaded, handled and distributed to the various level over 12 stages of the 22-acre site using our tele-handler, with over a thousand deliveries of items including Air Handling Units, switchgear, modules, ductwork, attenuators and containment, this was achieved by establishing effective forward planning and infrastructure, implementation of processes and delivery of services between the PHS team and other contractors. The key requirement was to facilitate the movement of materials and associated plant/equipment to their respective work areas safely and effectively.


PHS also supplied over 50 contract lifts for the major plant items, smoke extract fans and PV panels, all lifts were carefully planned, manged and complete by our experienced plant handling lifting team. 

Stonecutter Court - London

Plant Handling Package

PHS supplied lift and shift solutions to our client over a six-month period.

Working with our clients DFMA team, the PHS team installed all the major M&E plant items and prefabricated modules for this new build in the heart of London, installing 4000kgs Pump Skid, Air Handling Units, Switchgear, 8200kgs Transformers, Buffer Vessels and Sprinkler Pumps to the basement levels, prefabricated multi-service Riser module, some weighing up to 7500kgs, throughout the buildings 13 floors and Air Source Heat Pumps, Air Handling Units, 9500kgs Generator and Horizontal Pipe Modules to the roof levels, all the operations were carefully planned, managed and completed by our experienced multi skilled plant handling lift and shift team.     

The 02 – Greenwich London

Air Handling Unit First floor Install

PHS offloaded 12no. sectional Air Handling Units using a forklift and lifted them into a first floor plantroom through an opening where the team accepted the sections and positioned them, the operations were carefully planned, managed and completed by our experienced multi skilled plant handling lift and shift team. 

Wimbledon Centre Court - SW19   

Air Handling Unit Component replacement

PHS worked on this iconic sports venue, working with our client to strip-out the redundant low efficient components and replace them with new modern components, working in the plant area above the seating area of centre court, the Plant Handling lift and shift team worked to a tight program to ensure there was no disruption or delays to the 2024 championships.

1 Broadgate - London 

Plant Handling Package

PHS worked on a new build next to London’s Liverpool Street Station, offloading and installing the Heat Interface Units on each of the 12 floors, the roof plant including the Cooling Towers weighing over 30,000kgs when fully constructed, Air Source Heat Pumps, Chillers and the four section Package Plantroom with the heaviest section at 11,000kgs, these were landed on the roof and pulled together by the team, all lifts were carefully planned, managed and completed by our experienced plant handling lifting team. 

Papworth Hospital - Cambridge

Transformer Change-over

The PHS lift and shift team had 2 5000kgs transformers to take from their housing and replace them with 2 new 6000kgs Transformers, the outgoing Transformer was tracked on machine moving skating system from the transformer housing along a high level path and lifted with a Hi-Ab, then the new Transformer lifted and moved effortlessly back to the transformer housing, the operation was phased over two visits allowing the site electrical team time to rebuild the housing and get the transformer back online so not to disrupt the live hospital, the operations were carefully planned, managed and completed by our experienced multi skilled plant handling lift and shift team.   

20 Ropemaker – London

Switchgear and Transformer Lift and Install.

The PHS worked on opposite ends of this new build in the centre of London over two phases, the basement Switchgear and Transformers were offloaded using the site Tower Crane, tracked into the building at ground level and lowered to the basement levels using a lifting beam and electric chain blocks, then tracked to the Switchrooms and placed into final position.

The Switchgear and Transformers for the 11th floor were lifted to a purpose-built landing platform during night shifts, then tracked into the building and placed into final position, be it day or night the PHS team effortlessly completed the task.
